China: Man Scares Off Two Brown Bears From Apartment Building in Tibet

A man in Nagqu, Tibet, drove two brown bears out of a residential building on January 30, 2026, after the animals forced their way into a stairwell. He opened his door to lure the bears back down, then mimicked dog barking and made loud noises, causing them to hesitate and retreat. The bears eventually descended the stairs and left the building.
